about;

the chronicles of narnia is a series of children's books written by CS lewis, about a magical world called narnia, filled with fantastic creatures such as fauns, talking animals and even evil witches, and how many kids, namely the pevensie siblings, eustace scrubb and jill pole travel through it and save it many times from many dangers, learning very important lessons along the way. these seven books are considered classics of british literature and have been adapted into movies and TV miniseries a number of times. the latest incarnation of narnia was created for the big screen by disney and walden media, breaking records at the box office. the first two books have been done already by them (the lion, the witch and the wardrobe in 2005 and prince caspian in 2008), with a third one on the way (voyage of the dawn treader, expected in theatres in 2010).

peter pevensie (played by william moseley in the walden media films) is the oldest of the pevensie siblings. when they are forced to leave london because of the air raids, he takes on the role of the protector of his youngest siblings, a role he continues as the plot moves on. his character is a bit more expanded in the movies: he's responsible for his age, and cares about his siblings more than anything. at times he goes a little overboard with the protectiveness, to the point where he becomes reckless and a bit tunnel-visioned, but it's also with their best interest at heart, both his family's and narnia's. he earned the title of high king of narnia, and was knighted "sir peter wolfsbane." in the second movie, he has a few control issues, especially when it comes to his faith in aslan and sharing leadership of narnia with newcomer prince caspian. however, peter is also a very jovial young man, and loves narnia deeply. he cares about his siblings more than anything, and will do anything for them to be safe and happy.

lucy pevensie (played by georgie henley in the walden media films) is the youngest of the pevensie siblings. she's the one that first finds narnia, and the one most closely tied to it. she loves playing and having fun, and meeting new people and creatures. she's sweet, and very bright and positive, with an unparalleled faith. despite her young age, she's usually the one to remind her siblings of what's really important. oftentimes she's scared by the challenges she has to face, but she draws strength from her faith and knows everything will be alright in the end as long as she believes. she's amazingly loyal; her friends will be friends forever, and she loves her siblings more than anything else. she gets very upset whenever any of them lose their focus, and she doesn't like people patronising her just because she's young. she is a very good people reader, and can sometimes see reasons behind people's actions before anyone else can. she was known as queen lucy the valiant.

peter and lucy have a very interesting dynamic. in the first movie, it's all about holding onto each other through thick and thin, peter seeking to protect her and lucy seeking solace in him. in the second movie, when lucy is the other side of peter's coin, where she knows aslan is waiting for them, and peter won't believe it, because he's lost faith. she shows him that he should never stop believing, be positive, and he helps her be brave. through it all there's the protective side to it as well. it's very obvious that they have a special relationship, not only by virtue of one being the oldest and the other the youngest, but because they can relate to each other in a sense: out of the four pevensie siblings, they're the two least inclined to the logical side, who are more about the feelings than about the mind. that creates a bond between them that i personally find very endearing.

a fanlisting is, as described by its creator, janine, as a "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject." in this case, it's a list of fans of the relationship between peter and lucy.

this site was created by carla, and is part of the mighty network (*nudgenudge* please visit! ^.~ *nudgenudge*). it's done in PHP and div layers, especially for 1024x760 resolution, but it should look good in smaller resolutions too. the title of the website comes from a quote in the first narnia movie: while at professor kirke's house, lucy wants her siblings to play "hide and seek" with her. the others aren't as eager, but she turns to peter with a tentative grin and a "pretty please?," and he finally relents with a smile. it's the cutest scene ever ^.^ the quote in the title bar of each page is also a quote from the LWW movie; peter says it to lucy when they get on the train to go to professor kirke's house at the very beginning of the movie.
