mystery, inc. (800x600+): kNET's first skin, with images from the second scooby doo movie: monsters unleashed. just because i adore scooby and i loved the movie ^^ (hey, that rhymed!). nice, dark-ish, with a black background, funky blue brushes, and hot pink links. i liked the effect of the polaroid brushes i used for the main part of the layout. harem (1024x768): kNET's second skin was actually the layout of one of my cliques, called just like that, harem. eventually i decided to close all my cliques, but i loved the design so much, i HAD to use it for kNET. it's all in black, with white grungy-checkered brushes, and the poster boys are the gundam wing pilots, cuz i love them all, they're the most gorgeous anime boys ever! too tough (1024x768): this layout actually belonged to my blog, girls are weird, in a faaaar back past. still, i liked it so much, i managed to resurrect it for kNET's new skinned look. it's all in white, with pictures of anna from the shaman king manga, and lots of brushes. also, lyrics from avril lavigne's song 'too much to ask', which i thought fit anna perfectly. the title comes from the song, too. manslayer (800x600+): this one came from one of my wallpapers, that i have stored in cupcake! it's all in light blue, featuring a young kenshin from the RK manga. i really like the 'bloodstain' brushes i used, they definitely give it the feeling of a reluctant killer. i love it. bored (800x600+): this is another layout taken from one of my wallpapers, which you can find in cupcake! it features shinji and asuka from neon genesis evangelion, from yoshiyuki sadamoto's awesome art. white background with reddish swirly brushes. i really like it! ace of hearts (800x600+): this one's been a long time coming! as soon as i saw that image of gambit and rogue kissing, i knew i had to do a layout with it. so here you have it, red and black like gambit's eyes, with white text, and red sparkly curvy brushes that make a great explosive effect. beyond magic (800x600+): hiiragizawa eriol is one of my ultimate favorite characters ever, so i HAD to do a layout with him as a poster boy. here it is, in school-uniform red color, and also white and black, to compliment his features. striped layout with lots of brushes, of course. sakura tradition (800x600+): i love this design! *.* if it's ok for me to say so. it's one of my favorite couples of all time, sanosuke and megumi from rurouni kenshin! images were taken from the RK epilogue in the manga, better known as 'sakura kaden.' i think megumi looks so beautiful in it and sanosuke looks... interesting ^^;;; it's all done in pink and purple with a decidedly floral theme, sakuras everywhere! not my usual cup of tea but it seems to fit great. arrogance (800x600+): this was the layout for my old ookido shigeru shrine. i always thought it was pretty good, so i decided to recycle it for kNET. it's purple, with two profiles of shigeru in it, white grid brushes and just a nice pastel overall theme. star power (800x600+): this was one of the designs i had some time ago on my blog, girls are weird. i loved it so much, i had to bring it back! it's sakura, from cardcaptor sakura, in all her cardcaptor glory. the layout is white, pink and light green with black curvy brushes and also some star brushes splattered here and there. definitely a keeper. aku ichimonji (1024x768): this is one of my favorite layouts out of all that i've ever made. done in grey-black, with awesome red and white breathe (800x600+): this is a layout recycled from my ficlog, because i loved it so much that i had to bring it back. features images of faye and spike from the anime cowboy bebop, a purplish-orangy on black color scheme, and lyrics from the song bwee (800x600+): i expanded this layout from an icon i made for my ranma 1/2 batch. i just found that image of p-chan to be absolutely adorable! so of course, he had to express his opinion in a layout and since he's not a very happy piggie, that's why the subtitle is link (800x600+): this is another layout recycled from my ficlog, that i just had to bring back because i loved it to bits and pieces. it features one of my favorite trios-- edward, winry and alphonse from the fullmetal alchemist movie, trio luv! (800x600+): this is another layout recycled from my ficlog, that i just had to bring back because i loved it to bits and pieces. it features the one and only golden trio-- harry, ron & hermione from the harry potter series. the art is originally from the LJ community evolve (800x600+): this was one of the first designs i had in my blog, girls are weird, back in the days where x-men evolution was my main fandom. i still love that series very much and i will never stop being a kurt/kitty fan, so i decided to bring back this layout. the main image is from the comics, in tones of red and pink, with black and white accents. i really like the grungy look to it. in pinstripes (800x600+): yet another layout recycled from my ficlog. i made it back in 2005 when tino martinez was retiring and my yankee obsession was at its best. in tones of blue, turquoise, purple, black and white and, of course, the classic pinstripe pattern that represents the yankees. trois (800x600+): i had this layout up at GAW for almost a YEAR, i loved it that much. in lovely shades of orange and yellow, the header featured some delightfully striped and oversaturated fanart of my favorite fictional trios, from HP, FMA, naruto, digimon, EVA, and champloo. inspired in lyrics from the song 'tout envoyer en l'air' by the french rock band KYO. i alone (800x600+): another GAW cast-off, this one featuring my favorite couple from CSI miami: ryan & calleigh! inspired by the song with you (800x600+): this is yet another layout recycled from my ficlog, because i loved it so much that i had to keep using it. based on a wallpaper i made of the trio from their character images in the OotP movie. the color scheme is a little weird, going from white, beige and pink to claret and vibrant red, but it works somehow. the quote featured on the header is from the last chapter of harry potter and the half-blood prince, which is possibly my favorite trio moment ever. girls just wanna have fun (800x600+): featuring the female pilots from the rebuild of evangelion movies (and pen-pen, of course!). as soon as i saw this gorgeous promotional picture for EVA 2.0, i KNEW i had to do something with it. the color scheme is, as always, a bit weird-- dark tones for the background, cammo green and then light blue with orange accents for the main content. but i think it works. title taken from cyndi lauper's famous song, of course.
